Shimano is introducing a Saint Rapidfire Plus shifting lever for Downhill Racing and Extreme Freeriding. Only a right hand shifter for rear drivetrain will be available.
The clamp band of this shifter is mounted on the outside of the brake lever. The result is that shifting and brake lever are closer to each other for easier operation without losing grip
on the handlebar.
This Saint Rapidfire Plus shifter will be available in the market from July 2005.
