Shimano introduces a revolutionary sports hub dynamo with a weight of only 490 grams, compared to 655 grams for the current top model DH-3N71. Besides the weight, this hub dynamo has been developed according to the highest standards in the market.
This super lightweight hub dynamo will be available in two versions. DH-3N80 is a 6V / 3.0 W version for the German market and DH-2N80-E is a 6V / 2.4W version for other countries.
It features a double anodized premium finish and it is provided with a quick release. Both 32 and 36 spoke hole versions for wheels of 26 till 28 inch will be available. Double contact sealings have been used for extra durability. This high-end sports hub dynamo features a low rotation resistance so it can be used for trekking but also for road racing and mountain biking. It is a safe, reliable and lightweight solution for all those riders who are cruising through the dark.
