This extraordinary big pit reel has seen fixed spool reel casting quantum leap into the record books several times over - little wonder with distances in excess of 265 yards! Slow Oscillation painstakingly lays line on at the rate of 80+ coils per upward and downward traverse of the rotor. The body is small and perfectly formed and packed with state of the art Shimano S-System reel technology, including a cold forged direct drive main gear, 6 ball-bearings plus a roller bearing for a 10 ball bearing equivalent performance.
Now this reel is available in a 12000 size which incorporates the Baitrunner Spool System, which makes it the ultimate fishing tool for the long range carp fisherman. The Baitrunner spool mechanism is also a great tool for the surf caster fishing from the beach. |
