John Degenkolb is by the German national coach selected for the World Championships in Valkenburg. The sprinter recently won five stages in the Vuelta a España and is accompanied by his Team Argos-Shimano teammate Simon Geschke.

Bert Grabsch (Omega Pharma QuickStep), Patrick Gretsch (Argos-Shimano) and Tony Martin (Omega Pharma QuickStep) will ride the time trial.
