Reel Description
The all new Saragosa is Shimano’s answer to the increasing demand for a heavy duty saltwater reel that can handle the punishment of modern jigging and spinning techniques.

Paladin and Propulsion technologies come as standard across the range, as well as Aero Wave and Aero Wrap oscillation systems featured in the 3000 – 8000 models and 14000 & 18000 models respectively.

All models are constructed of a light-weight aluminium frame, machine handle and graphite rotor (aluminium in 14000 & 18000 models). The spool features a titanium lip, one-piece bail and Dartanium drag system (6000 – 18000 models only). All models feature no less than 5 SARB bearings and 1 roller bearing.

Featuring all of the latest innovations fresh out of the Shimano stable it’s easy to see why the Saragosa is tipped to be a real work horse for saltwater anglers chasing big Kingfish, Tuna and everything in between.
